Commissioned by Royal Caribbean Cruises. This large version of Reclining Figure II (cat. number 343) was a realisation of Laing’s original intention for his reclining figures of 1975 (cat. numbers 343, 345, 347) to be created at scale that emphasised their architectural qualities.
